DR. ROBIN FRIEDMAN
PRACTICE OWNER, VETERINARIAN
Dr. Friedman opened My Vet Animal Hospital in May of 2006 after 14 dedicated years as an associate at another practice in Chicago. Since opening, we have grown into a thriving practice and continue to grow our professional team and services. Dr. Friedman graduated from The University of Florida School of Veterinary Medicine in 1991 and obtained her undergraduate degree from Boston College. Dr. Friedman is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners as well as a Fear Free Certified Professional. She was born in Tampa, Florida so she is definitely partial to the warmer weather months and enjoys being out in the sun or on the water with her family in Florida as much as possible. She is raising her daughter, Cici, and missing her four legged golden Evie! Her newest addition to the family is a baby black lab named Batman. In her spare time you will find her power walking on the 606, having a glass of red wine and always enjoying her friends and family!
ASSOCIATE VETERINARIAN
Dr. Jean Henry attended the University of Cincinnati for her undergraduate degree in biology. She then received her veterinary degree from Purdue University in 2018. She has a special interest in feline medicine, senior pets, and soft-tissue surgery.
Dr. Henry is from Cincinnati, Ohio. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, baking, and spending time with her cats, Mira, Anna, Sebastian, and her dog Roxy.
DR. ARACELY CORDES
RELIEF VETERINARIAN
Dr. Aracely Cordes has been providing relief services at My Vet Animal Hospital since 2017. Dr. Cordes grew up on the south side of Chicago. She went to Iowa State for undergrad and the University of Illinois in Urbana for veterinary school. She graduated in 2011 and has been practicing in Chicago since. She is grateful to animals for showing us unconditional love and enjoys helping pets and their humans. She is devoted to finding the root of any problem and healing wounds. Her main interests in vet med are client education, collaboration, surgery, pain management, dentistry, and fear-free medicine. She loves learning and growing but realized she learns exponentially from her own pets including Tom, her senior cat, and two late Goldens, Mac and Miller. Her own pets have taught her to have compassion not only for her patients but also for their worried parents.
On ‘days off’ she enjoys exploring the city with her two human children, Maddie and Mason, traveling, reading, writing, and anything outside when the sun is shining brightly.

Jeanna
Jeanna joined the My Vet team in 2015. She runs the show when it comes to surgeries and training new technicians in treatment. She and her husband have a sweet french bulldog named Odin. When Jeanna isn't here with us, you can find her at a craft fair where she is showing off her talent in creating decorative pins.
Camille H.
Sadie
Danielle is a relatively new arrival to the team, and this is her first time working at a private practice after coming from a shelter medicine and rescue background. This background has provided lots of insight and understanding, while highlighting the dichotomy between homeless animals and pets who have a loving home and a family who wants to provide for them while keeping them happy and healthy. Danielle has 2 rescue cats named Sushi and Evee. When she's not at work, Danielle can usually be found listening to audiobooks, riding her bike, wandering in the woods or tending to her garden, working on her current project of covering her car in paintings of cats on vinyl or one of her other mixed media works.
Sonia
Sadie, has a 6 year old black cat named Harley and a 1 year old Husky named Zion. They get along very well together. Harley is the sweetest boy ever and loves to cuddle. Zion is very playful and energetic – his favorite place is the beach, where he loves to kick and dig in the sand. In her free time, Sadie likes to hang out with friends, exploring new places, reading, learning new things and just spending time with her pets.

CLIENT CARE COORDINATORS
Nicole is our CSR Supervisor and also a Veterinary Technician Assistant at My Vet. After joining the team in January of 2020, she suddenly lost her soul dog, Milo, at the age of 17. She knew then, she wanted to dedicate her career to helping animals and carry on his memory through her work. She is committed to client care, with an additional focus on gently assisting clients and their pets during euthanasias.
In her spare time, she enjoys naps with her spicy Chihuahua, Lexi, cosplaying, painting and cooking. On the weekends, you can catch her tossing people around in the ring as a Professional Wrestler.
